Topgear.com is the web presence to probably the world's most popular car show. With only limited development resources I was brought on board to design easily implementable cosmetic changes to the car reviews section and attempt to homogenise a site that had previously been through many incomplete design revisions.VISIT TOPGEAR.COM
Bee Accessories specialises in beekeeping protective clothing and tasked me with designing an impactful new web presence and a snazzy new logo. I gave them what they were looking for.
Ozone IT Limited is a privately-owned New Zealand business providing consultancy and support services to a range of industries across Australia and New Zealand. The brief was wide-ranging and included a complete redesign of the logo and branding, marketing material and website. The main feature of the branding was to bring some personality to a company which is in an industry with a reputation for being very stoic. This was achieved through the integration of vibrant character illustration and bold colouring.
The College Herald was a newspaper dedicated to improving engagement of high school children with the world around them and also introducing them to possibilities of journalism. It was published weekly within the New Zealand Herald with articles, photography and art provided by students themselves. This illustration was a promotional piece for The College Herald which was delivered to schools around New Zealand with the aim of increasing awareness of the brand.
I like creating things. Sorry, not just things, nice looking things. I've had a bit of practice doing it now as well - near on 14 years... SHEESH! I've worked on a pretty broad spectrum in my time as well - marketing campaigns, branding, illustration. I even delve into a bit of coding, but now most of my focus is on beautifying the World Wide Internet Highway. I'm currently the lead UX/UI designer for BBC Worldwide Features and work mainly on BBC.com and it's feature sites.
